Acrylic course

Provide specialized knowledge in acrylic nail application and construction by teaching proper structure techniques, product handling, and professional finishing skills to develop highly trained nail artists.

This acrylic nail technique course is an in-person training program held in Colorado, United States, designed to provide a personalized and hands-on learning experience in a professional environment.

The training is completed over 2 intensive days, with 8 hours of instruction per day, for a total of 16 hours of specialized training.

Upon successful completion of the program, each student receives a certificate of participation and completion, recognizing the skills and knowledge acquired throughout the training.

Course Curriculum – Day 1 (Theory & Hands-On Training)

• Introduction to professional tools, products, sanitation, and hygiene protocols.

• Understanding nail anatomy, nail conditions, and different natural nail types.

• Proper product handling and acrylic product control techniques.

• Bead control and product consistency training for proper acrylic application.

• Practice exercises on training sheets and nail tips to develop product placement control.

• Overlay application on the natural nail.

• Proper natural nail preparation and nail bed prep techniques.

• Free edge reconstruction and structural correction techniques.

• Learning and practicing four different acrylic nail design techniques:

  • Glitter decorative design

  • Baby Glam technique

  • Solid color acrylic application (single-tone technique)

  • Baby Boomer technique

• Professional filing, shaping, refining, and final sealing process.

Course Curriculum – Day 2 (Theory & Hands-On Training)

• Proper tip application and adhesion techniques.

• Tip adjustment and customization according to the natural nail structure of each client.

• Study and application of different professional salon nail structures.

• Building and mastering the main nail shapes:

  • Square

  • Almond

  • Stiletto

  • Coffin

• Learning and practicing four advanced acrylic nail design techniques:

  • Glitter fade technique

  • Encapsulation technique

  • Marble effect technique

  • Colored Baby Boomer technique

• Professional filing, refining, and structural definition techniques.

• Final buffing and sealing process for a professional finish.
